Brought to patrons by the Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce, this putt-putt event benefits Vestavia Hills High School RISE students and their fundraising initiatives for cancer research. There will be prizes for the winners, and food and beverage vendors will be on-site, selling refreshments. RISE Day

Vestavia Hills High School

This free festival is open to the public as a celebration put on by Vestavia Hills High School RISE students to honor all of the community’s support in fundraising for cancer research over the 2024-25 school year. There will be food vendors, games, activities and to end the night strong, a luminary ceremony honoring cancer patients, survivors and those who lost their battles to cancer. Easter Eggstravaganza & Bunny Hop

Friday, April 18 | 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Wald Park & Sicard Hollow Athletic Complex’s Splash Pad Pavillion

The Vestavia Hills Library in the Forest is hosting its Easter Eggstravaganza at 11 a.m. at Wald Park. The event will feature an egg hunt, visits from the Easter Bunny, arts and crafts, snacks, a petting zoo and fun time with bubbles. Following at 2 p.m., the Bunny Hop will commence at Sicard Hollow Athletic Complex’s Splash Pad Pavillion, where there will also be an egg hunt, photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny, family-friendly games, a bounce house and more. Wing Ding

Vestavia Hill City Hall

Hosted by Leadership Vestavia Hills, the 2025 Wing Ding tradition is an annual, all-you-can-eat wings cook-off, featuring live music, a kids’ zone with bounce houses, games and more. Cook teams will compete for the honor of “Best Wings in the City,” and proceeds will benefit Leadership Vestavia Hills’ partner charities. For more information or to purchase tickets, click here

Heights Hangout

Sunday, April 27 | 2-7 p.m.
Heights Village

Brought to patrons by the Cahaba Heights Merchants Association, Heights Hangout is a fun, family-friendly event featuring a kids’ zone, pony rides, food and beverage vendors, pop-up shops and live musical performances. This event has raised thousands of dollars for the Cahaba Heights Beautification Fund. Tickets are $15 each, but children 12 and under get in free.
