How did you two meet?
We originally connected through a dating app in 2018. Our first real date was to the Alabama Theatre to watch “Rebel Without A Cause.” Afterwards, we went to Paramount for dinner and played arcade games. We both didn’t want the date to end, so we continued on to Atomic Lounge where we dressed in silly costumes and chatted all night.
The Proposal
Returning from a trip to the Florida Keys, we stopped in Orlando. That night the two of us went into Disney Springs for dinner. Randall booked a balcony table to set the mood. When he got down on one knee, I actually thought he dropped something! It was the best surprise ever when he pulled out the ring!
Favorite Wedding Moment
My favorite wedding moment was the beautiful speeches given by our mothers. We asked our officiant for a traditional Italian ceremony and within that, he asked for dedications to the bride and groom. Our mothers both stood in front of us and gave the most eloquently-spoken dedications to each of us.
Favorite Wedding Details
The first day we pulled up the drive to Relais Villa la Trinita, I was mesmerized. The villa was originally built in 1892 and is surrounded by rose bushes, hydrangeas, a giant jasmine tree and roman ruins, as the villa sits along Via Cassia. Our favorite thing about our entire wedding other than just the amazing location would have to be the food cooked by Fabio, Matteo and their team at Convivium Laboratorio di Cucina. The day before the wedding, we had a cooking class with Fabio and Matteo at the villa, where we made Supplì al Telefono, Civitonico and five different pasta variations.
