Shop from vendors who support ministries that fight human trafficking, encourage adoption, and support missions around the world. Tickets are $5 at the door or can be pre-purchased from the church office.
2. Mistletoe Market
Nov. 2-3 | 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Lutheran Church of Vestavia Hills
Shop a selection of local vendors at this holiday pop-up benefitting Lutheran Church of Vestavia Hills Preschool. The church is located at 201 Montgomery Hwy, 35216.
3. Final Rebel Varsity Football Game
Friday, Nov. 3 | 7 p.m.
VHHS Thompson Reynolds Stadium
Don your red and blue, and we’ll see you as the Varsity VHHS team takes on Huffman.
4. Deck the Heights
Thursday, Nov. 8 | 4-8 p.m.
Shops of Cahaba Heights
Get a head start on holiday shopping when businesses stay open late throughout Cahaba Heights and find food, wine, craft beer and fun along the way. A trolley will make for easy transport between shops in the area. Be sure to catch the VHHS Rockettes performing at 6 p.m. and then the Disco Amigos are performing at 6:30 p.m., both at The Heights Village. And make sure your kids get their passports stamped at each stop to earn free Doodles from Santa.

Already dreading what to buy that impossible-to-buy-for special someone in your life? Not to fear. Find handmade items and all kinds of gift items and baked good for sale at this market, plus a coffee shop, and all proceeds go toward missions at the church and in the community.
6. Friend of the Library: Dolores Hydock Fundraiser
Thursday, Nov. 15 | 10-11:30 a.m.
Library in the Forest
What does pumpkin pie have to do with just desserts? And what does Thanksgiving have to do with going fishing? Delores Hydock will share these stories and those of sibling rivalry, sweet potato casserole, sudden disaster and realizing how much there is to be thankful for. Admission is $10 or free for Friends of the Library, and light refreshments will be served. Plus find more library events here.

Ring in the season with this annual celebration of holiday lights. We hear Santa will be there, too, along with music from school choirs and bands and more.
