Superhero Fun Run & Rebel 5K Color Run

Saturday, March 2 | 8:30 a.m. – Superhero Fun Run | 10 a.m. – Color Run

While registration has ended for these two races, patrons are still invited to come out and support the racers and donate to the Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology program at UAB. There will also be family-friendly games, activities, music and more on Buddy Anderson Field following the races. The Superhero Fun Run will feature students from kindergarten through 5th grade and will take place at the football stadium. The Rebel 5K Color Run, which is open to people ages 12 and older, will start in Vestavia Hills High School’s front parking lot and will wind through nearby neighborhoods. 

Taste of Birmingham

The Club

Brought to patrons by the Birmingham Boys Choir, this annual Taste of Birmingham event features close to 25 different local restaurants, who will all compete for the event’s grand prize–the Iron Skillet Award. The choir will serenade the audience with their musical delight, promising an evening of fun, food and fellowship for all. Tickets are $75. Learn more here.

Troup’s Pizza will have live music on the patio and will offer a time to network with business professionals at this after-hours event! Be sure to bring plenty of business cards, and come hungry!

Cahaba Heights business owners will be hiding Easter eggs in their stores, restaurants and more throughout this week! Shades Mountain Baptist Church’s Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt

Shades Mountain Baptist Church

Families of children with special needs are invited to participate in Shades Mountain Baptist Church’s Special Needs Easter egg hunt, which will have special hunts to accommodate varying abilities, in order to ensure every child is able to go at his own pace and find some neat eggs. There will also be games, crafts, door prize raffles and more. Hero Doughnuts and Bitty & Beau’s Coffee will be on site, ready to serve patrons and sell some delicious treats. Learn more here.
