Pinkies Up Tea Party

Saturday, Feb. 10 | 9 a.m.-11 a.m.
Vestavia Hills Methodist Church’s Fellowship Hall

Benefitting the Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology Program at UAB, the annual Pinkies Up Tea Party is the first of many RISE events occurring this spring that involve Vestavia Hills students fundraising for cancer research and awareness. Young girls are invited to dress up in their favorite princess costumes for a delightful tea party complete with face-painting, crafts, dancing and a sing-a-long, too. Parents, be advised that tickets are $10 per child and can be purchased in advance here. 

Kids Day

Saturday, Feb. 24 | 9 a.m.-11 a.m.
Vestavia Hills High School

Dubbed the perfect event for both the young and “young at heart,” Kids Day is the second RISE event of the semester, benefitting the Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology Program at UAB. Eighty characters including some Disney friends and superheroes will be hanging out, ready to snap a picture with local fans. With music, games and fun for all, Kids Day is the perfect family outing. Tickets are $15 per child, but admission is free for adults. Purchase tickets in advance here. 

Unless U Got Talent

Saturday, Feb. 24 | 6:30 p.m.
The Lyric Theatre

The Unless U Got Talent competition is back again this year! Last year’s show featured a game show, a bodybuilding competition, square dancing, a gospel choir and more! Unless U students and passionate locals are partnering together to put on fantastic performances, and all are invited to attend. Tickets are $35 per person and may be purchased here. Proceeds benefit Unless U. 

Dinner and Diamonds

Saturday, Feb. 24 | 7-11 p.m.
Vestavia Country Club

Time to dine and dance! The 18th annual Dinner and Diamonds gala will feature live music, both a silent auction and a live auction, a delicious dinner and more–all to raise money for the Vestavia Hills City Schools Foundation. Tickets are $80 per person and may be purchased here.
