We both went to the University of Alabama and on the same Greek Summit beach project with Cru.

Hardie and I grew up together. We have been family friends since we were young and would always spend the Fourth of July together.

Brian proposed behind Vestavia Hills Baptist Church, which is a special place for us both. It has been Brian’s family church home since the ‘50s when his grandparents Louise and Dan Burton became members.

Swede and I (Caroline) met through a mutual friend who was his roommate at the time and a good friend of mine from college.
