2021 marks 20 years since Sept. 11, 2001, and this annual ceremony will remember that day that forever shaped our country. The Cities of Homewood, Mountain Brook, and Vestavia Hills rotate hosting this ceremony, and this year the City of Mountain Brook is hosting.

6. Cahaba Heights Clean-Up Day

Saturday, Sept. 11
10 a.m.
Meet at The Heights Village Parking Lot

Join Cahaba Heights merchants to help clean the creek around Meadowlawn Park. Grab some trash bags, gloves, friends, neighbors and family and meet up for a morning of cleaning and community love.  If you can’t join them and you have trash you need to dispose of, bring it to Oliver Square, where Doodle’s is. There will be a community dumpster available there that day.
