Gross Out Camps are award-winning science camps put on by the Birmingham-based nonprofit, Fresh Air Family, nearly every week in July across the state of Alabama. With 64 camps across 22 different locations, Gross Out Camps are designed to get kids outdoors, helping them to enjoy nature, learn about Alabama biodiversity and even conduct some fun science experiments, too. Vestavia Hills Youth Boys Soccer Camp

Vestavia Hills High School  

Brought to soccer players by Vestavia Hills High School’s Boys Soccer, this youth boys soccer camp takes place this month and is open to rising first through sixth grade-students, no matter his experience level. Campers will learn fundamentals of soccer, including decision-making skills on the field, soccer drills, teamwork and more. Zombie Scavenger Hunt

Attention, all rising sixth through 12th-grade students! The Vestavia Hills Library in the Forest is hosting a zombie scavenger hunt, where participants surviving the “zombie apocalypse” will race against other contestants to find survival items hidden around the library.
