1. Superhero Fun Run

Saturday, March 4 | 8 a.m.
Vestavia Hills High School’s Football Stadium

The third annual superhero fun run invites children in grades 1-5 to run, walk or skip to the finish line alongside their favorite superheroes, who will be dressed up and participating with them, too! Registration fees are $20 per child and include a t-shirt. This race’s proceeds benefit the Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology Program at UAB. Stay up to date on this event here

2. Rebel 5K Color Run

Saturday, March 4 | 9:30 a.m.
Vestavia Hills High School’s Front Parking Lot

The 11th annual Rebel 5K Color Run invites all who are in sixth grade and up to participate in this fun event! The race course will wind through Vestavia Hills neighborhoods near the high school with color stations along the route. Registration is $20 per person and includes a t-shirt, too. 4. Dogwood Festival Fashion Show

Thursday, March 9 | 4-6 p.m.
Vestavia Hills Civic Center Ballroom
1090 Montgomery Hwy

Join the Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce for the Dogwood Festival’s first fashion show! This show will feature styles from local merchants including Avani Rupa Jewelers, Clover + Bee, Darnell’s Fun Stuff, Dear Emmaline, GiGi’s, The Lili Pad, HaMi Boutique, Little Soles, Mia Moda Boutique, Monograms Plus, Mountain High Outfitters, Shoe Station and The Smocking Bird. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased here.

5. Kids’ Day

Saturday, March 18 | 9-11 a.m.
Vestavia Hills High School

This annual children’s festival features more than 80 Disney characters and superheroes dressed up and ready to play! There will also be a touch-a-truck event, featuring emergency vehicles and construction equipment for children to learn about. Admission is $15 per child but is free for adults.
