Salute to Veterans

Vestavia Hills Civic Center

The City of Vestavia Hills along with Mayor Ashley Curry will host a Veterans Day celebration to honor those who have served and currently do serve in all branches of our armed forces. The celebration will feature light refreshments, children’s activities, patriotic programming and more. This year’s keynote speaker is Major General David P. Burford (Retired). Learn more here.

Amanda Pair Foundation Legacy Run

The annual Amanda Pair Foundation Legacy Run features both a 5K and a one-mile run/walk, whose majority proceeds benefit a memorial scholarship created in Amanda Pair’s honor. Tree Lighting Festival

Vestavia Hills City Hall and Civic Center

Brought to patrons by Holiday in the Hills and the Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce, the annual lighting of the Christmas tree on the front lawn of city hall is a family-friendly tradition for all! Festivities will kickoff after the tree is lit, and patrons can enjoy festive camaraderie, music, activities and more. Learn more here.
