Vestavia Hills Parks and Recreation is hosting a health and wellness fair, featuring free flu shots from Publix, free blood pressure checks from the Vestavia Hills Fire Department and public safety talks from the Vestavia Hills Police Department. Door prizes will be available, too. Learn more here.
3. A Taste of Italy Dinner
Tuesday, Sept. 12 | 6-8 p.m.
Vestavia Hills Civic Center Ballroom
The Vestavia Hills High School band and choir are putting on a joint fundraiser dinner for their trip to Rome, Italy, at the end of 2023, where both the band and choir will be performing at various venues. Your support is greatly appreciated! At the dinner, delicious Italian food will be served, and guests can enjoy live musical performances by members of the VHHS band and choir, too. 4. Puppy Palooza

Vestavia City Center
The Vestavia City Center is proud to host the Greater Birmingham Humane Society for a day of play with dogs! On the green space of the city center, patrons are invited to enjoy live entertainment, family-friendly activities, vendor booths and opportunities to meet and play with some precious puppies, too. 5. Vestavia Hills Methodist Church’s Fall Festival

Vestavia Hills Methodist Church
The VHMC community invites everyone to attend the church’s annual fall festival! This family-friendly event will feature live entertainment, food trucks and kids activities, including inflatables, train rides, carnival games and face painting, too. Admission is free. Get more information here.
