1. Party on the Patio

It’s time for a party on the patio with food, shopping and music in Cahaba Heights.
2. Spring Sports Kick-off + Concert Series
March 4 | 5-9:30 p.m.
Wald Park
Join Vestavia Hills Parks and Recreation to celebrate all spring rec sports with music, food, games, parade and crafts! Be sure to paint a kindness rock at the Library in the Forest tent. A concert by Jenni’s Mixtape will start at 7:30 p.m. on the Grand Lawn.
3. Superhero Fun Run + Rebel 5K Color Run
March 5
Vestavia Hills High School
Ages first through fifth grade can take part in the Superhero Run at 8:30 a.m. (gather at 8 a.m.), and ages sixth grade to adult can take part in the Color Run at 9:30 a.m. (9 a.m. gather). This VHHS RISE event benefits the Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology Program at UAB. Register ($20 per person includes a T-shirt) here no later than Feb. 22.
4. Party in the Park
March 13 | 3:30-6:30 p.m.
Sicard Hollow Athletic Complex
Get ready to party in the park with face painting, music, bounce house, food trucks and more at this family event.
5. Live After 5
March 17 | 5 p.m.
Vestavia City Center
Get ready to party with live music, local vendors, and more at this event for all ages. Vendors include: Plant Stand, A.edge Designs, Kelli Todd Art, Studio Style, Handwritten by Michelle, Ruffled Rabbit Boutique, Busy Learning and Cindy Tyus Art.
6. RISE Kids Day
March 19 | 9-11 a.m.
Vestavia Hills Civic Center
Come out for a morning of fun with a character party and touch-a-truck event benefitting Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology Program at UAB. The event is part of VHHS student organization RISE’s work to raise money to support research to fight cancer. Tickets, $15 each, can be purchased at gofan.co/app/events/437797?schoolId=AL2466.
