5. Big Cahaba Cleanup

6. Stewart Cink Championship

Vestavia Country Club
Named after the Alabama native Stewart Cink, this championship event is held by the American Junior Golf Association. It is a 54-hole tournament featuring nearly 100 male and female junior golfers between the ages of twelve and nineteen. Learn more about the tournament at ajga.org.

Get in the 4th of July spirit a week early with free family fun at I Love America Night! Enjoy a concert by the Shades Mountain Baptist Church Orchestra at 7:00 p.m. followed by a movie at 8:15 p.m. The children’s area is open from 6-8 p.m. Note that the event is being held at VHHS this year due to construction at Wald Park.
10. Toy Story Movie Marathon

Celebrate the recent June 21 release of the last movie in the Toy Story franchise by waiting a few extra days to take your kids (or yourself!) to the theater and catching up on the first three movies beforehand.
